Jack W. Jenkins

Passed peacefully away, June 9, 2020 Jack Wallace Jenkins at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by: parents Archibald and Ivy; son Grant; brothers: Clarence (Clarie) and Harvey; sister: Betty and Pansy; brothers-in-law: Cecil, Austin, Lloyd, and Clarence.

He leaves with many loving memories: wife Evelyn, son Roddie (Brenda), daughter Wendyann (Eddie) Hillier, grandchildren: Ryan and Jorja; brothers: Ralph (Joyce), and Eddie (Frances); sisters: Marjorie (Melvin), Joan, Doreen, Bernetta, and Thelma; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Jack was a fisherman and loved the sea. He was a kind, gentle soul and loved to help anyone who needed a hand. In his retired years he was always keeping busy outside and enjoyed spending time with family.

In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family funeral with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Point. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be given in Jack’s honor to the Canadian Cancer Society
